I cannot import contacts using either Plaxo or OI. It manages to access the account and let's me tick the emails I want but does not import them into Alpharecommend.

Yes, Javascript is enabled. But that's the odd thing, the Plaxo app opens in a Javascript popup but OI does not. It goes into it's own window and there the "cancel" button does not work, nor the "import contacts". Plaxo opens in a JS popup and gets the contacts but hangs on "import contacts", just goes nowhere...

I suspect this is more likely something to do with the rockettheme template I use, any rockettheme advice?

I have solved this one. It is a Rockettheme issue, as suspected. The more recent Rockettheme templates have custom input styling, which is the problem. In these templates, in the 'advanced' parameters, there is the option to add parts of your site that must be excluded from this custom input styling. To that list, I added 'com_alpharecommend'.

This did the trick. Now the OI 'address book' opens in a beautiful popup and imports as it should.

Except, it does not import from Facebook, Twitter and somewhere else, which I find a little odd. I have used other OI components that did import from Facebook.

i am not using Rocktheme template but i have the same problem, any idea how i can fix it so i get the nice pop up window and working the import contact button? regards!

Same problem having here with a Ironis of JoomlArt J!1.5 template.

Unfortunately the solution as done with the RT template is not an option with JA.

Anybody here a suggestion??
