I'm searched all over and just cannot figure out why no points are being awarded for forum posts and replies (not sure if AUP is even working yet, the forums is the first part I am testing)

Here's my settings ...

Any news here?

Unfortunately, I have the same issue - except that I'm using CB instead of JomSocial.

So I have done all settings in Kunena's integration menu and also the rules are enabled.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Please note that I have updated my Kunena from 1.5 to 1.6.3 - and it looks like that my users are only getting points in categories, which I have created after the update. But even there, not all users get awarded - so I haven't really a clue what the issue is.

So any advice how to solve this?

Thanks

Sorry, but I cannot help (yet), but I have the same issue:

J! 1.5.23
JS 2.0.6
AUP 1.5.13
Kunena 1.6.3

However I figured out the following:

IF in Kunena/Configuration/Integration the 4th setting (should be something like activity stream message, above the setting for # of chars in activity stream) is set to "Automatic" or "AUP" THEN the points are awarded, HOWEVER it does not show in the JS activity stream

IF it is set to "JomSocial" the the post in Kunena posted in the activity stream, BUT it does not count the points in AUP

So it looks like there is a problem somewhere - my assumption is that it is the Kunena code.
So far I have looked into and fiddled around with:

/administrator/components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/activity.php and
/components/com_kunena/template/deault/post.php

NB: I am not sure whether post.php is really still doing something or it might be there just for historical reasons....

However I am a PHP-noob and I am really just "fiddling" - so I am stuck.

Has anybody found a solution to this????

So I have found out that users are getting points only in public categories. In my closed categories (viewable only for authors+) AUP isn't awarding anyone.

Maybe someone has a hint how to solve this matter?

Thanks-

This change has been made in Kunena by my suggestion, because AUP show before all Kunena Topic subjects in Latest Activities and User profile activities in AUP... there can be also "Private" things/topic's which are not for all (public / registered users), like authors, publishers, administrators forum topic subjects. So at the moment AUP 1.5.x + Kunena 1.6.x give points from topic's which are public / registered users (access level).

This (Kunena) change was the quickest to put into practice and secure confidential topic subjects from AUP activities... I hope you understand my point in this case. When I suggest this, I was in contact with both parties (AUP/Bernard Gilly and Kunena Team)
